Alaska Timberframe embraces both traditional hand-crafted techniques, as well as modern enclosure systems for a wide range of attractive and cost-effective residential, recreational and commercial buildings.

At Alaska Timberframe, we specialize in acquiring prime timber to supply our sawmill with optimum materials. The frames are crafted in our shop, Homer Joinery, or produced by "Straightline Timberworks". The timbers are then shipped to the building site and raised by our crew. The result is an outstanding, aesthetically pleasing, and structurally superior timber frame. Each frame optimizes the building dimensions and complements the planned use.
Alaska's Sitka Spruce and Yellow Cedar have incredible visual appeal.

Douglas Fir is also available from the Pacific northwest. Our partnership with Straightline Timberworks of Maple falls,WA, gives us the availability of premium Fir Frames and an additional 20yrs experience in the business.
